Quality Time With Nana and Mickey

Laney has some time off for Passover, so Nana came down to spend a few days with her.  Each morning, Laney and Nana enjoyed the latest episodes of Mickey Mouse Funhouse before heading out on the town to visit Charlotte’s finest toy stores.

Laney’s 2nd Birthday Celebration Continues

Not unlike Mickey Mouse, Laney’s birthday celebration seems to last for months.  Today Ms. Linsday made her a special crown which she got to wear all day at school.  Later, all of her classmates sang Happy Birthday to her at Shabbat services.

After naps, everyone partook in the traditional eating and smearing of the mini cukecakes before wrapping up the festivities with screaming and running.

The Social Event of the Year

It’s hard to believe that Laney is almost 2 years old.  It blows my mind.  To celebrate, we had a house-full of her toddling friends over to wreck the place… I mean celebrate.

Laney Gets Her Birthday Haircut

Laney Hits the Party Scene

Birthday season is winding down for Laney as her 2nd fast approaches.  She’s been really enjoying the party scene in Charlotte these last few months as all of her classmates have turned two.

This weekend, Laney busted out the formal pink bow for Lia’s big musical-themed shin dig.  Laney and Lia are good friends who eat breakfast together almost every morning with the occasional breaks for the obligatory dance parties.

Everyone who was anyone was there… including Laney’s teacher Ms. Linsday.  Or as she calls her.  Cee cee.  (No.  We have no idea why.)
