Full House

The house is full of Schragers this weekend as Adam, Carly and Baby Diana made the trip down south to meet their new niece/cousin.  I thought the house was full of baby stuff before… I was wrong.  Very, very wrong.  Everywhere you turn.  Babies.  BAAAAABIEEEESSSS!!!!!

Bailey’s head is ready to explode.  Once she got the taste of baby in her mouth, she just can’t help herself.  Babies everywhere!

We Resemble That Remark… Or Do We?

So one of the big mysteries we’ve been trying to solve around the Schrager household this past week is, who does Delaney look like?  It seems that thanks to good fortune and a just G-d, she doesn’t look like me.  But we’re not seeing a strong resemblance to either of us.  I went back into the archives and unearthed our Rookie Cards.  Take a look for yourself and tell us what you think.

A Delaney By Any Other Name…

Hey All,

Sorry I haven’t posted anything new in a bit.  I went back to work on Tuesday and that coupled with the lack of sleep has left me little time to blog.  I’ll try and get some new pictures up soon.

Delaney is doing well.  She had lost about 1 lb. since her birth, but that was expected.  She has since been to the doctor’s office twice just to make sure she was eating enough and I’m happy to say she’s gaining weight again and eating like a Schrager.  Granted, that’s not a good thing in the long run, but it’s ok for now.

The reason for the post is to let you know that we locked in a date for the naming.  It’s going to be Saturday, May 17th here in Charlotte at Temple Beth El around 11 AM ET.  Everyone is more than welcome, but please don’t kill yourselves trying to get here.  If it’s convenient for you, then we’d love to have you!  If not, we’ll tell Delaney you don’t love her.  No big deal.  (KIDDING!)

After the ceremony, we’ll all go back to the Schrager Compound for some bagels and a shmear.  Then we’ll all convoy up to Aunt Laurie’s house in the mountains where we can root around for twigs and berries while scaring away poachers and saving the spotted maroon-bellied swallow raven falcon bird or something.

Thanx for all of the well wishes, cards and calls.  We love to hear from everyone and apologize if we’re not getting back to everyone quicker.  Don’t take it personally.  We’re just ignoring you.
